Hatherley Manor Gloucestershire

Today was an early start at the beautiful 17th Century country house hotel 'Hatherley Manor' to style the hair for Vanessa.
After lots of rainy days we had a nice morning with a promising feel for the rest of the day!

Vanessa had decided on a tousled 'updo' for her fabulously luscious brunette hair which was complemented with beautiful deep pink and white roses individually woven into the style .... very elegant!!

Eastnor Castle Canadian Wedding

It's not often that I do weddings at the beginning of the week but today saw me visiting a favourite venue of mine, Eastnor Castle in Herefordshire. I've been styling wedding hair at Eastnor Castle for around 16 years now from the time I owned a hairdressing Salon with family just down the road in Ledbury. One of the joys of being a wedding hairdresser is visiting such amazing venues like Eastnor Castle which really is a fairytale castle.

Today's wedding was between Cindy and Joel who had travelled over from Canada to have their dream wedding at Eastnor. It was great to be stlying hair for this wedding as I had been looking forward to doing it since I met Cindy for her trial run back at the beginning of March when they came over to England to arrange wedding plans.
Arriving quite early I styled Cindy's daughter's hair and her neice who were both young bridesmaids at the wedding and then Cindy's twin sister. Finishing just before lunch I left the castle as the string quartet were welcoming guests into the great hall for champagne reception before the wedding.
