Cadbury House Portishead Wedding

I started styling for Karan's wedding at 7 am this morning which meant me getting up at 5am to drive down the m5 to her beautiful home by Portishead marina.

Today's venue was to be the spectacular Cadbury House Hotel which has recently undergone an amazing refurbishment to make it one of the south wests finest 4 star boutique hotel.

Karan had asked for a Audrey Hepurn inspired style which was perfect for the wedding which was themed as Glamorous and Fabulous The bridesmaids were wearing very elegant black evening style gowns, the men black tie and the groom and father of bride in full traditional Scottish attire of kilts and all the trimmings!

The bridesmaids all had elegant curled side bun chignons with diamante combs to add the finishing sparkle.
Working alongside Karans make up artist I curled and pinned the bridesmaids hair whilst being supplied with endless cups of coffee and toast!!! It's a hard life!

Karans hair was totally fantastic and with the curls pinned into place and diamond clips placed in she ran off upstairs to change into an amazing jewelled wedding dress, she looked fantastic.

Beechfield House Luxury Hotel Wiltshire

Clare (Pure Pampering) was doing make up for today's bridal party down in Wiltshire so I picked her up early and we drove down together to Wiltshire to the stunning location of Beechfield House Luxury Hotel in Beanacre Wiltshire. We were given exclusive use of the hotel's fabulous beauty spa salon to use as our preparation room for the bridal party.

Bride Emma had the most beautiful brunette hair which we had decided on styling up into a classical bridal curled style with individual orchids and freshias woven into the curls.
Emma's sister had asked to keep her hair down but to have a tousled style with flowers. Once I had added movement and bounce with GHD stylers I individually pinned flowers into one side to create an elegant asymetrical style.

I then styled the three young girls who were bridesmaids and again pinned individual flowers into the styles.
Finally I styled mum in Laws hair and attached the fascinator before the girls all went off to get dressed ready for the wedding ceremony.

Kingscote Barn Tetbury Wedding

Driving over to the Cotswolds this morning was beautiful as the weather was incredible, so sunny and summer like!

I was styling the hair for all of the bridal party but Angela (the bride) was having her hair done by a family friend who did a wonderful job. Clare (Pure Pampering) was doing the make up for everyone and was doing an AMAZING job!
Angela fiance was from Albania so several members of the bridal party were also Albanian with fantastic thick dark european hair.
I curled all three bridesmaids hair with GHD's and heated rollers before putting them up into fabulous half up/half down styles.
I then blow dried the 2 Mum's hair and attached the fascinators before adding final touches to the bridesmaids hair ready for the girls to be driven over to Kingscote barn.

The Great Tythe Barn Tetbury

Last week was the first time I had been to The Great Tythe Barn in Tetbury and here I was one week later back styling Sarah's hair for her wedding.
I arrived quite early and made my way to Kiln Cottage where I was to do the styling and Clare (Pure Pampering) would do the make-up.
I started with Sarah's teenage daughter, putting in heated rollers and curling the hair to create a half -up hairstyle which looked great with her hair.

Next was Sarah's sister who had the most amazingly thick naturally curly hair which she wanted taming! Once I'd blow dried styling spray and 'str8 lotion' into the hair her hair was transformed into a sleek bob with a small amount of body on the crown to balance out the jewelled headband.

Sarah had decided on a curled chignon when we did her trial run earlier in the year. Like her sister she had the most amazing hair, very healthy, strong and great for putting up! Once I'd curled it I tweaked and twisted the hair into the side bun chignon and finished it with vintage style diamante clips ... fantastic!
